Frank Golidng leads Golding Media Ventures, LLC and Run or Pass, Inc. (increases engagement with media via mobile devices). He is a former Director at Google, where he worked on product, sponsorship and creative strategies. He joined Google as YouTube’s Director, Head of Sport for North America, creating sports partnerships for leagues, teams and athletes – across professional, college and high school sports. While at YouTube he helped people connect more deeply to one billion monthly users through content, marketing, advertising and technology opportunities. His team developed the then two largest sports MCN’s in the world.
At ESPN, before YouTube, he spent nearly nine years working on technology acquisitions and digital deals and across all of ESPN’s U.S. content platforms, including building out content networks.
Golding Media Ventures specializes in over-the-top (OTT) networks and sports deals – distribution, product design and deal negotiation – and invests in select technology and media ventures, including the Virtual Reality Studio, Penrose Studios.
Frank holds a JD from UVa and an MBA from MIT.
He is Venture Partner and founding member of NextGen Venture Partners (NY).
